Just in time for Halloween, Techland is resurrecting its popular Dying Light/Left 4 Dead 2 crossover, even if only for a little while. There's been very little news surrounding the Dying Light series in recent weeks, ever since the planned sequel Dying Light 2 was indefinitely postponed back in January (although Techland insists progress is moving along). Dying Light’s arsenal expanded with iconic Left 4 Dead 2 weapons. As a homage to Valve’s magnificent co-op zombie shooter, we recreated three iconic Left 4 Dead 2 weapons in Dying Light. Dying Light Left For Dead 2 Event
The special experience is live now until October 29 18:00, which will see you battle the Viral Rush event which is meant to emulate the hordes that appear in Left 4 Dead. To make it a bit more interesting and unique Techland added in a 'new type of shotgun ammo that gives the infected a taste of fire and brimstone'. If you don't like it, you can turn off the special events like this in the menu.
